The ODP serves as the middleware engine that bridges OT systems with digital services. It simplifies OT system integration, enabling seamless communication, real-time data flow, and intelligent coordination across diverse environments.
ODP integrates with Digital Twin technology to provide real-time visualisations based on the integrated data. This allows users to access actionable insights, support day-to-day operations, and engage in powerful planning through simulation and modeling.
In essence:
- ODP acts as the foundational middleware engine, handling complex OT integrations, data flow, and system interoperability.
- Digital Twin serves as the application layer, delivering actionable, real-time visualisations based on the integrated data.
Key Projects
Punggol Digital District
An award-winning solution developed by JTC and GovTech, the ODP will be Punggol Digital District’s digital backbone and a key component of Singapore’s digital infrastructure.
-
ODP is connected to district cooling, security, car park systems and more, and even make robotics within JTC districts. The ODP’s AI can control temperature settings of air-conditioners in each location by taking into consideration footfall, historical data and live weather information.
-
Streams of data are collected in real-time to help facility managers, security personnel and other estate managers deliver smooth estate services and optimise their critical operations.
-
Centralisation of district operations for better operations management is expected to help JTC reduce operational manpower, and energy consumption by up to 30%.
