BookingSG can support different levels of adoption depending on an agency’s service delivery needs.
Agencies can choose to use BookingSG as a ready-to-use booking service with configurable admin and user-facing portals, integrate BookingSG into existing digital journeys, or simply utilise BookingSG as a booking engine through APIs.
This flexibility allows agencies to adopt BookingSG for straightforward booking use cases, while still supporting more complex operational flows that require the agency's own custom front-end experiences or integration with existing systems.

- As a service: Government agencies can quickly onboard BookingSG with our SaaS for straight-forward booking management use cases. Features out-of-the-box include booking management through an admin portal and an applicant facing portal to receive bookings. The entire set up can be managed by agency admins without dependencies on the BookingSG team, thus reducing the turnaround time and freedom to set up according to requirements and needs.
- As an engine: Use BookingSG as an engine to serve highly complicated use cases and integrate BookingSG using its Application Programming Interface (API) to leverage on its booking functions. Government agencies will have full autonomy to design their own user journeys while relying on BookingSG to manage core booking operations such as availability, booking records, resource or service allocation, and booking-related workflows.
