DevSecOps is an extension of the DevOps philosophy that integrates security practices into the software development process. It aims to shift security left in the software development lifecycle, making security considerations integral to the entire development and operations process. By embedding security into every stage of the software development lifecycle, DevSecOps seeks to create a culture of shared responsibility for security among developers, operations and security teams.

DORA, short for DevOps Research and Assessment, comprises metrics devised by Google Cloud’s research team in conjunction with DevOps specialists. These metrics provide insights into the velocity and quality of software development and delivery processes within development teams. For other technical queries, you may refer to our user guide.
