The PAB is designed for flexibility in installation, allowing seniors to choose its location within their homes. It is wireless and operates on batteries with a lifespan of approximately five years.

To enhance accessibility, seniors can determine the placement of the device, with considerations made for ensuring it is reachable even if they are on the floor.

Starting in 2025, the PAB will be expanded to approximately 170 additional rental blocks, benefitting around 27,000 more seniors.
