Sign with Singpass uses signing certificates issued by the National Certification Authority. Signatures made using Sign with Singpass are regarded as secure electronic signatures under Singapore’s Electronic Transactions Act. The digital signature is cryptographically linked to the signer, providing businesses higher assurance of the authenticity and the integrity of the signed documents.

Remote signing for Singpass users

Signing with Singpass provides convenience and increases productivity and business efficiency – users no longer need to be physically present to sign documents and agreements.

Flexibility of adoption methods for government agencies and businesses

Government agencies and businesses can choose to adopt Sign with Singpass in two ways:

• Integrate the Sign with Singpass API with internal document management systems, or,
• Use commercial document management products that are pre-integrated with the Sign API as provided by the digital signing partners listed here.
