Features

Co-payment support

Enable transactions that combine GovWallet disbursements with users’ own funds for seamless co-payment experiences.

Control of where payouts can be spent

Enables agencies to select specific merchants and control where payouts can be used. Agencies can specify the list of merchants that qualify for each scheme.

Control of payout validity period

Enables agencies to specify the period in which the payouts can be spent.

Integration with various frontend interfaces

Integrates easily with existing government mobile apps (e.g. LifeSG, Workpal, and Healthy 365), websites and ATMs as a backend service module.

Broad payment platform integration

For payouts, GovWallet supports PayNow and NETS QRs for wide merchant acceptance. For collections, GovWallet supports the various payment methods that the Payment Service Providers offer. The banking partner and payment service provider can be appointed via ePayments Government Bulk Tender GVT (T) 24010 – ensuring streamlined, compliant, and flexible payment processing for agencies.

Unified admin portal

Access a centralised interface to manage both disbursements and collections efficiently.

Supports CPFB's GovCash (withdrawal of payouts in cash via ATMs)

GovCash is a new payment mode that allows eligible citizens to withdraw their government payouts – such as GST Vouchers – in cash from the OCBC network of ATMs across Singapore that have been integrated with GovWallet. Users do not need to have an OCBC bank account to use GovCash. Citizens without banking accounts can also spend their GovCash payouts via the LifeSG app, thanks to the GovWallet integration.
