AISAY handles PDFs, JPGs, PNGs, and TIFFs. On our APIs, the Flagship model also accepts XLSX, DOCX, and PPTX. Documents can be digitally created, scanned, or photographed, and can contain typed or handwritten content, structured tables, or free-form text.
AISAY currently supports documents classified up to Restricted, Sensitive Normal. Support for higher classifications is on our roadmap.
Flagship models are powered by the best LLMs globally and are best for text-heavy documents- they are more powerful but slightly slower. Local models are hosted in Singapore, process faster, and perform better on image-heavy or visual content. We recommend trying both on your use case to see which gives better results.
No. AISAY does not store or retain your files, or the output from your analysis. Documents are processed in memory and immediately removed once results are returned. Not even the AISAY team can see the contents of your documents. Our AI model providers are also contractually bound to not retain data beyond 24 hours, and your data is never used for model training.
Traditional OCR relies on keyword matching- it searches for exact text labels like "Groom's Name" and fails if the document uses a different label. AISAY combines OCR with Large Language Models that understand context, so it finds the correct value regardless of how the document is worded or formatted.
All three. We handle extraction, analysis, and verification- the difference is in how you write your schema. For extraction, you describe the fields to pull out. For analysis, you ask for evaluations and assessments. For verification, you define the criteria to check against.
AISAY is built, owned, and operated in-house by a GovTech team. It is hosted on GCC and is fully compliant with IM8 regulations. While AISAY calls third-party AI models for processing, the application itself is not outsourced or subcontracted.
For the Web Portal, no, anyone with a gov.sg or edu.sg email can log in immediately with no registration. For the APIs, you'll need an API key, request a free staging key at https://go.gov.sg/aisaykey and you can start testing right away.
