Getting Started

Choose your path and get up and running in minutes.

For Developers: Integrate AISAY into Your System

  1. Request an API key:
    • Visit https://go.gov.sg/aisaykey to get a free staging key. No procurement or approval process needed for testing — you'll receive your key and endpoint details to start making calls immediately.
  2. Pick your API:
    • Most use cases are best served by the KIE API (/v1/extract). It handles extraction, analysis, and verification in a single endpoint. Use Classification (/v1/classify) if you need to sort documents by type, or OCR (/v1/parse) if you need full text output.
  3. Define your schema:
    • Write a JSON schema describing the fields you want to extract. Each field has a type and a description that guides the AI. Not sure how to structure it? Use the API helper tool at https://tools.getaisay.com to generate ready-to-use Python and cURL scripts from a plain English description of your use case.
  4. Test with sample documents:
    • Send a few representative documents through the staging API and review the results. Try both Flagship and Local models to see which performs better on your document type.
  5. Go to production:
    • Once you're happy with the results, request a production key through the same form at https://go.gov.sg/aisaykey. For teams processing more than 5,000 pages per month, we provide complimentary AI engineering support to help with prompt optimisation, benchmarking, and go-live.

For Officers: Use the Web Portal

  1. Log in:
    • Visit https://aisay.ai.tech.gov.sg and enter your gov.sg or edu.sg email. No registration or approval needed, just verify with an OTP and you're in.
  2. Pick a model:
    • Choose Flagship for text-heavy documents or Local for image-heavy content. Not sure? Try both on the same file and compare.
  3. Write your prompts:
    • Select "Specify Your Own Fields" and describe what you want the AI to look for in plain English. Give examples and mention alternative labels to improve accuracy. Use the prompt generator at https://tools.getaisay.com if you need help getting started.
    • Save your prompt configuration as a template so you can reuse it next time.
  4. Upload and process:
    • Drag and drop up to 100 files, confirm they are classified at or below Restricted / Sensitive Normal, and click "Confirm & Process."
  5. Download your results:
    • Preview results on screen, then export as an Excel file.
