For government agencies

Government officers who are interested to know more about FileSG can provide an overview of their use case at https://go.gov.sg/filesg-indication-of-interest. A FileSG team member will be in touch after reviewing the use case submitted. For government officers who wish to begin using FileSG, please fill up this form.

For residents

As FileSG is a new digital document service, only selected government documents will be issued to your FileSG account. You will be informed by the issuing agency if your document has been issued through FileSG. To begin using FileSG, please follow the steps listed below.

Singpass users:

  • Go to https://www.file.gov.sg and log in to your FileSG account via Singpass.
  • For first time users, you will be asked to confirm your contact details so that FileSG can notify you of any updates on your documents or account.
  • Once this is done, you can view and download documents that have been issued to you.

Non Singpass users:

  • Go to FileSG’s document retrieval page
  • Enter the Transaction ID for the document(s) you are trying to retrieve. This can be found in the file issuance email.
  • Complete the 2FA step
  • View and download document(s) issued to you
